Happy New Year

Can you believe it, the last day of 2007........one of my new years resolution is to do more sewing, and to be more giving....so I have started, the local Cancer Group are holding a fundraiser end of March 2008.....so instead of racing around madly a few weeks before I have started making a few tea towels...appliqued...sell for a few dollars, it all adds up.
I would like to thank everyone who has visited my blog over the past 6 months, and for making all those lovely comments.....it has been so much fun.
"Happy New Year".....
hope your 2008 totally rocks.....

New Free Motion Quilting Foot

Just before Christmas I purchased a new foot for my sewing machine....I have a Janome Memory Craft 6600P and our local Janome agent, Janome Jean we call her - rang and said that she had some new products....Free Motion Quilting Foot/Bobbin Holder for Free Quilting....well I just had to have one (informed my friends Dale and Kerry and they were with me)...so this is the first chance I have had to use it and it is brilliant.....so if any one has the same machine and you don't already have these attachments, I can definitely recommend them....

Christmas Decos

Each year I try to make a new Christmas decoration.....unfortunately this year I have fallen in a heap...these are a few of the things I have made over the year.....
When I first started to quilt...two lovely ladies Ruth and Pat held a Christmas quilting day..we were making Christmas trees....the girls cut the kits out, huge job, as there were so many of us doing the day.... and we put them together....(not very well, might I add) anyway I did make two and I put them up every year.....dodgey sewing and all....
